In this letter hundreds of civil society organisations, including Wetlands International, urge the Co-Chairs and Member States of the post-2015 Sustainable Development Framework process to have climate adequately reflected in their Goals.
This would contribute to a global low-carbon development pathway and to keeping global warming below dangerous levels through significant emissions reductions. We believe that a robust framework of this nature will also help to support the scale of ambition needed to achieve the aims of the UN Framework for Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC) and help to ensure the delivery of a strong climate deal at in Paris in 2015.
